To those seeking childcare,

I am writing to highly recommend Ms. Jen as a nanny. Ms. Jen joined our family two weeks ago, and I must admit, I was initially reluctant to hire someone to care for my two grandsons, ages 2 and 4. However, as a working Nana, I found it necessary. From the moment she arrived, Ms. Jen exceeded all my expectations.

On her first day, Ms. Jen came prepared with containers filled with books, puzzles, paints, posters, and small-scale climbing toys. She has an extraordinary approach to discipline, using patience and understanding to address the boys’ needs. She always acknowledges their feelings, making them feel important and heard.

It is truly amazing to watch Ms. Jen read to the children. She creates an engaging environment with Elmo, a bunny named Honey Bunny, and the boys as her audience. Her storytelling brings books to life in a way I’ve never seen before. 

Ms. Jen also brought her own healthy, nutritional foods and snacks, which was a pleasant surprise. She ensures the boys have a balanced diet, feeds them breakfast, helps them get dressed, and takes them on wonderful outings. Some of their favorite places included the Pearl Street Tebo train in Boulder, Activate in Westminster, Waneka Lake park in Lafayette, and Mamie Dodd Eisenhower library in Broomfield. 

I was initially worried about my grandsons traveling in a vehicle other than mine, but Ms. Jen provided her own car seats, ensuring their safety. This gave me great peace of mind while I was at work.

Since July 8th, my grandsons have not even seen their iPads. This is astonishing, as they used to cry if they didn’t have them during meals. Thanks to Ms. Jen, they have learned to enjoy more interactive and engaging activities instead.

This weekend, we will be taking the boys back to their parents out of state. I want to personally thank Ms. Jen for being an amazing nanny and teaching my grandsons to be courteous and kind, and for helping them reduce screen time. She will undoubtedly be missed by all of us.
